Affiliates InformationThe nitty gritty of affiliates
Some of the resources listed on our website are affiliate links. When you click on an affiliate link and decide to make a purchase, I will earn a small commission (like a referral fee). This commission does not increase the price of the product, so you are not paying more whether you use the link or go directly to the website I suggest.
Any resource listed on this page is a product or service that I personally have used and am happy with. I will never suggest something I do not believe in.
Although these are products that are helpful and useful for me, please do not buy anything unless you feel you actually need them or that they will help you reach whatever goals you have in mind.
The FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires that affiliates (such as this site) disclose to our readers when we endorse a product and have a “material connection” to the seller of that product.
These rules apply to any online review, article or endorsement that includes an affiliate link and encourages visitors to purchase a product. Disclosures are not required for links that are clearly advertisements (such as banner ads).
We at EntrepreneurRoadMaps.com comply with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR § 255.5, and review and follow the suggestions outlined in their guide on How to Make Effective Disclosures in Digital Advertising.
Whenever we link to an outside source, we will disclose the nature of our relationship with that company. Such disclosures will be made clearly, frequently, and conspicuously. Such disclosures ensure that you, the reader, can formulate an informed opinion about the information we provide by understanding the possible influence our material connection with the outside source might have on our endorsement of their products or services.
AFFILIATE RULES FOR LEGITIMATE ENDORSEMENTS
Whenever we make a product or service endorsement, the endorsement will be truthful. We cannot lie to encourage our visitors to purchase a product or service, nor can we fabricate evidence or experiences to entice visitors to purchase a product or service.
- We can’t talk about our experience with a product or service if we have not tried it. Any time we provide reviews of products or services, these will always be 100% truthful and legitimate.
- If we are compensated to try a product or service and we thought the product was horrible, we will not tell you it was terrific.
- We cannot make claims about a product or service that would require proof we do not have. For example, we cannot say that a product or service we used “guarantees your Google rank increase” if there is no evidence to support such claim.
- We cannot write a fake testimonial or lie about our own experience with a product or service and the positive benefits we experienced from using the products or services.
We take this issue very seriously, and if you have absolutely any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
